Orange barrels are now in full bloom
Please give highway workers some room
Please leave a bit early
And don't be so surly

There are days when you start feeling stressed

Classic Post: Orange Barrel Lament

Orange barrels are starting to bloom

And on the roads they make less room

The evening rush will take more time

Minutes stolen are such a crime

Back in the time the roads were bricks

The streets would always need a fix

But in these times when roads are made

They all receive a failing grade

And now they want to add a lane

And make our ride a bit more sane

But nowadays when home we go

Construction makes our journey slow

It's time for this short poem to end

No more time on this to spend

Don't think of me that I am sour

What is a smile, you may ask
An answer is part of this task
For some, it may begin
With a broad, toothy grin

The programs on television today

When we look at our weather report
We sometimes need to be a good sport
Will it be snow or rain
Someone needs to explain

Thank you Mr. Zuckerberg
From all the ones who post
From those who use it little
To those who use it most

Some there just post music

And others post some news

And some are not too bashful

As they go and post their views

Some go and post their business

And problems with their work

But when some go and then respond

They act just like a jerk

We go and search  for old friends

And folks who went to school

And some we didn't like too much

They now seem very cool

Sometimes this social magic

With which we make amends

It helps up to reach right out

And make some great new friends

And now with this sixth  stanza

It will become the last

In the endless quest for motivation
You search all over creation

We blog when it's sunny
We write our comments
When your blog is funny

The Monopoly players went round

Going Over the Virtual Bridge

When dealing with internet trolls
You know they are there to fill holes
When they're raiding the fridge
Just go over the bridge
Ignoring them defeats their goals

The postal service delivers six days
But the profit is lost in a haze
To try to keep things alive

It's not that amusing
When the laws are confusing
And the government wants their max

I write this poem
With my phone
Though in my house
And not alone

It's charging up

A new battery

To know it's use

I'll promise you

I'll stay on track

Today as my memory would jog

The destination's the same
